Curt Schilling is out for the season, and possibly for the rest of his career.
The 41-year-old veteran righty, who hasn't thrown a baseball since Spring, underwent an MRI Tuesday and made the difficult decision to ditch his rehab program and finally have surgery on his ailing shoulder.
"My season is over and there is a pretty decent chance I have thrown my last pitch forever," he said. "If you use a scale of 1-10 and 10 is pitching in the big leagues, I’m at about 3 right now."But, if he hasn't blogged about it, is it even true?
