Posada Out For First Time

I'm sorry for breaking your heart, Sarah.
Jorge Posada -- Sarah's most favorite player in the whole wide world -- was placed on the 15-day disabled list for the first time in his career Monday, after an MRI revealed a strain in his shoulder.

The 36-year-old New York Yankees catcher, who has caught at least 137 games in each of his past eight seasons, was getting worried that the issue with his shoulder was more serious a matter than he initially thought could be corrected by rest and rehab. This marks the first time since September of 1996 that Posada has not been on the Yankees' active roster.

Jose Molina will now get a shot at the starting backstop duties. To take Posada's spot on the roster, the club recalled Chris Stewart from the AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

Does Sarah have a candle-lit alter surrounded by Posada posters in her closet for when thing like this happen?
