Olympics on the Rocket's Menu

Olympic RocketIf Roger Clemens can manage to stay healthy, he will consider pitching for Team USA during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

The 45-year-old righty, who recently announced his possible retirement and intention to move into an office position at Minute Maid Park, was a member of the team in the inaugural World Baseball Classic last year.

If he does choose to join the Olympic team, he will not be allowed to be on the 25-man roster of any big league ball club, which means certain retirement. Finally.

This post also appears on Crooked Pitch, where I will be guest-blogging Saturday afternoon.

I can't be the only one in the world sick and tired of hearing about Roger Clemens.
