Bostonians Want Their MVP Back

Sox fans thank baby jesus Lowell isn't A-Rod.
Negotiations between the Red Sox and MVP free agent third baseman Mike Lowell cooled off Friday, but should start rolling again this weekend, according to Boston GM Theo Epstein.

The World Series champs are willing to give Lowell a three-year deal, while his agents believe a four-year contract worth $56 million is more than reasonable in the open market.

Lowell may begin negotiating with other teams beginning this Tuesday, so time is of the essence. If you’re a fan of #25 and you think online petitions are awesome, go here and voice your opinion.
