Whatever Alex Rodriguez said sure pissed off some Blue Jays.
However, it helped his New York Yankees snap a five-game losing streak.
In a filthier-than-a-stripper-move, A-Rod distracted Toronto third baseman Howie Clark by shouting at him on a key popup in the ninth inning, sparking arguments all over the place as the Yanks beat the Blue Jays 10-5 last night.
A-Rod claims he only said, "HAH!" He added, "Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't."How mature.
When asked what his intentions were, he said he didn't know. It's not like he yelled, 'I got it!' or anything. However, Clark claims A-Rod did call for the ball.
"I heard a 'Mine' call and so I let it go," Clark said. "What do you do? It makes you mad."Was this foul play on Rodriguez's part? Or was he simply trying to give his team a much-needed edge, since they can't seem to win by actually playing the game?

More fun with A-Rod...
