After being plagued by soreness throughout spring training, the Los Angeles Dodgers' Marlon Anderson will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow Friday and is expected to miss at least two months.
An MRI exam on Monday showed bone chips and scar tissue in the left fielder's elbow, which was already operated on in October.
Anderson, 33, started just one game and pinch hit 15 times before being placed on the DL Sunday. He was hitting .375 with seven home runs and 15 RBIs in 25 games for the Dodgers.
